Website Creation - eCommerce
When the owner of DexterdogUSA, a new clothing retailer in New Jersey, reached out because they needed a store front, I jumped at the chance to learn eCommerce.
Built with WooCommerce, their store sold short sleeve and long sleeve tees, along with hats and hoodies. Each apparel product had at least 12 variations of color and size, and there were more than a dozen designs at launch. Lots of product images and details to import!
The site layout was inspired by Vineyard Vines, a comparable beachy vibe. The colors were inspired by a photo of a beach sunset taken by the shop's owner.
The first month after launch, they made more than $5,000 in revenue. Not bad for a word-of-mouth brand!
